What I liked from E3

I don’t feel like reviewing every game at E3, so I am just going to do the ones I liked the best.
I realize that the review is a little late, but here are the things that stuck out at E3 this year. Personally, I did not really care for E3 that much as per other years, but here we go. Sony did not really captivate me this year, I don’t have a 360 any more, so I didn’t really watch M$ that much, and Nintendo turned out to be my personal favourite this year. A new Kirby game, a new DK Country game, and a new Zelda(that hopefully won’t blow). Other games that I had interest in are Portal 2, Bulletstorm, Nier, and Lost in Shadow. For reasons I left out some games is that I don’t own a 360 anymore, PSP, or DS.
From my early childhood, I can easily remember potentially hundreds of hours playing and replaying the Kirby games, from the original Kirby’s Dreamland to Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Don’t let me down Kirby! Additionally, Donkey Kong Country, goddamn, how I have longed for another. Unlike the Sonic series that is still around, unfortunately, Zelda seems to be going fairly strong after all of these years, so why not look forward to another? I am really looking forward to the return of GLaDOS in Portal 2 because they announced a full-length game, instead of a 40 minute game. Also, with the additional elements like the goo and the like, it looks like it can actually be challenging. Nier also has a lot of personal interest, and I am excited to see more. Lastly, Lost in Shadow looks pretty interesting and seems to be going in a different direction than usual platformer games.
